Introducing the Sandstorm Manor Coat, a piece that has been over a year in the making and one we are incredibly proud to finally bring to you.

 

 

 

Amy wanted to create something she had always struggled to find: a coat that genuinely worked at the yard, but didn't look like a traditional yard coat when you stepped away from the horse.

 

 

 

Something functional enough for riding, warm enough for winter days and practical enough for the yard, while still being stylish enough to wear for everyday life.

 

 

 

The result is the Manor Coat.

 

 

 

Beautifully minimal, effortlessly elegant and packed with thoughtful equestrian details, the Manor Coat is designed to transition seamlessly from yard to everyday. Wear it zipped up for a streamlined, understated look, or open it up for a beautiful, flattering silhouette that moves with you.

 

 

 

The fabric is unlike anything we've used before. A unique waxy, rubberised-feel outer combines the best qualities of several fabrics to create a coat that is water repellent, lightweight and warm without feeling bulky. It's the kind of coat you can actually move in, whether you're walking the yard, riding, running errands or heading out for the day.

 

 

 

Designed with riding in mind

 

 

 

The Manor Coat has been designed to work beautifully in the saddle without compromising its everyday style.

 

 

 

The double zip allows you to open the lower section of the coat while riding, giving you plenty of freedom of movement while the longer panels continue to provide coverage around your legs.

 

 

 

At the back, the coat features a beautifully designed extra riding panel. Open it up to allow the coat to fan comfortably over the saddle and cover the back of your saddle while riding. But we love it just as much when worn open normally, where the panel creates a gorgeous, flattering shape and allows the coat to swish and move beautifully as you walk.

 

 

 

Inside the lower panels are discreet leg straps, which can be used to secure the coat while riding. They are completely optional, as the coat naturally sits beautifully in place, but they are there when you want that extra sense of security in the saddle.

 

 

 

Thoughtful details, everywhere you look

 

 

 

The Manor Coat is full of subtle Sandstorm details that you'll discover the more you wear it.

 

 

 

A delicate gold stirrup zip pull adds a beautiful equestrian touch without being overpowering. The Sandstorm branding is deliberately understated too. We didn't want logos shouting for attention. The coat itself does the talking.

 

 

 

The front zip is concealed beneath a streamlined snap-button storm panel, with beautiful Sandstorm detailing on each button, helping to keep the elements out while maintaining the clean silhouette.

 

 

 

The large detachable hood has been intentionally designed to accommodate your riding helmet, making it as practical at the yard as it is on a winter walk.

 

 

 

Two generous front pockets feature a soft thermal lining, perfect for keeping your hands warm on colder days, while an internal chest pocket gives you a secure zipped space for your phone and essentials.

 

 

 

Inside the sleeves, you'll find our favourite cold-weather detail: a soft, elasticated inner sleeve with thumb holes, giving you extra warmth and coverage around your hands and wrists.

 

 

 

The cuffs can also be adjusted using the discreet snap-button tabs, allowing you to make the fit a little more secure on colder or windier days.

 

 

 

And when you want a more defined silhouette, the internal waist toggle allows you to gently cinch the coat in for a more tailored finish.

True to size. We recommend taking your usual size. If you plan to wear heavier layers underneath during the colder months, you may prefer to size up. If you prefer a more fitted, snatched silhouette and don't intend to layer heavily, you can consider sizing down.
